We’ve been working hard so that you can create better gig posters and flyers – Check out Flyer Lizard version 1.1

What’s new:

1. Upload and Build pages were combined into the new improved “Create” page, which has more awesomeness.
2. Create page now includes the ability to add an image layer over the background image.
3. We moved the event description to it’s own menu item.
4. You can now edit a flyer and the event description after you publish the flyer.
5. We improved the user interface based on feedback you gave us, thanks!
6. We’ve added new backgrounds and fonts.
7. QR codes can now be added under the “new layer” tab.
8. The new “media” tab allows you to add a SoundCloud player and or a link to your website.

Great fonts make the flyer!

Great fonts can make your show flyer. I remember back in the day when font kits were hundreds of dollars. There still are some great kits out there but if you are building on a budget all is not lost! Here are 10 great free fonts kits for building flyers.

Make sure to read the font license info and give credit to the artists who create these great free fonts.

You can also use these font kits on your website. Installing a custom font on a website is beyond the scope of what we’ll cover here but feel free to hit me up if you need help doing so.
